Someone needs to make a crossover gifset of when Abigail Hobbs and Sam Winchester meet on the psych ward.

It’s begging to be made, she even has a patch on her neck!

HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER. THAT ENDING.

So then Cas is human now??? … I’m okay with that, for a while at least.

But poor Sammy crying and in pain

I wonder what is going to happen to Crowley… I think the repentance was all an act. I don’t think the curing was working, because Sammy has demon blood…

THIS IS MY TAKE ON THE WHOLE ADAM FIASCO.

Adam was an innocent, though. The Winchesters have saved innocents their entire lives, be they family or not, and he should be worth the trouble for that fact. I still think they…

I won’t pretend to talk for all the people that want some resolution with Adam’s story, though I imagine some might share my POV.

More than a problem with the characters, it’s a problem with the show. It feels like the whole thing was dropped because “it’s not like Sam and Dean knew him much… so who cares about Adam, right?”

Well, if the show promotes so much the family bond, blood or not blood, then leaving behind a character that is somehow related to the Winchesters like it’s not a big deal, it is crap. And even if he wasn’t related, it’s still crap. They chose to tell that story, they should as well be able to tie the loose ends.

They already showed us that the boys did care about Adam even if they had barely meet him: At the end of “Jump The Shark” Dean clearly says “he’s our brother”, and when Sam suggests to bring Adam back, Dean refuses because Adam was “in a better place”. Also, they gave him a hunter’s funeral, even though Adam wasn’t a hunter. In “Point of No Return”, Dean went back to the room for Adam after getting Sam out. So, while fans may not care about Adam, the show already showed us the boys caring for him. That’s why it doesn’t make sense that now, when Adam got in the worst situation possible, we don’t get to see Dean and Sam thinking and caring about Adam’s fate.

It’s not much about Adam being brother by blood of the boys, but that he was an innocent that got in the middle of a fight that wasn’t his, and got the worst part. He IS in the cage. No, it’s not Michael using only Adam’s body. It has been made clear that when an angel takes possesion of a vessel, the vessel’s soul stays there. Dean asking about Adam’s soul when talking with Death is a further proof of Adam being in hell.

I’ve read some people using examples of other characters that were close to the boys and that died too or got confined to hell for a while or forever. But all the other examples are about people who were aware of the risks of working as hunters or making deals with demons. They knew what they got into, and accepted the consequences of that (or should have, at least). And while it hurts to see them leave the show, we did get a proper closure with those characters. Adam wasn’t aware of what he was getting into when he accepted Zachariah’s deal, because he wasn’t part of the world of the supernatural, so he didn’t have the knowledge, and because Zachariah lied to him. All he wanted was to be with his mother.

Look, all I ask is that the issue is adressed. I’m not even asking to bring Jake Abel back to the show. I just need one line, one freakin line of Dean and Sam feeling bad about leaving Adam in the pit. Maybe it’s true they can’t do anything to bring him back. Maybe it’s true that IF they could bring Adam back, he would be too damaged. But that’s not excuse to ignore the fact that an innocent boy got in the crossfire and for that he will have to endure the tortures of hell for eternity. It’s not like Dean and Sam don’t know what happens down there (no, I don’t think Michael and Lucifer are taking good care of Adam….).

Or, if it’s not too much to ask, another line, from someone, IDK maybe Cas, saying “btw, boys.. in case you were wondering… your brother Adam’s soul is back in heaven. IDK how he got there, but he is. I just thought you may want to know that”, and then showing the faces of relief of Sam and Dean. That wouldn’t even take 15 seconds. And It would show that Adam was actually deep down in their thoughts, and it would give closure to the story.
